Data Controller

Stockholm Lighting AB is the data controller for the processing of personal data for our customers, suppliers, and partners. The data controller is responsible for ensuring that personal data is treated respectfully and confidentially in accordance with applicable legislation.

What We Collect and Why

Stockholm Lighting has two registers where we store data about customers, suppliers, and partners. They are largely overlapping. The first is our business system, and the second is our database for newsletter mailings and event invitations. In the business system, there are details such as name, company, address, phone number, and email address. In the mailing database, there are only email addresses. You are included in one or both because:

• You have bought or sold something to Stockholm Lighting, and in connection with that, we have registered your information.
• One of our salespeople has visited your company or met you at a trade fair, and you have provided your contact details in the form of a business card or in another way.
• We use your personal data to process your orders, deliver your goods, handle payments, and manage returns and warranty matters.
• If delivery delays occur, we use the information to contact you.

Marketing

We also use our registers to inform you about news in our company, the industry, and our product range, as well as to invite you to various events. We do this through direct marketing via email, social media, or similar digital channels. If you do not wish to receive our newsletters, you can unsubscribe at any time; see the link at the end of the newsletter.

Third Parties

Stockholm Lighting will not send your personal data to third parties.

We use or allow cookies from third parties (e.g., Google Analytics) that help us monitor our web traffic and see which products have been viewed and how often. Cookies do not collect any personal information. You can block the use of cookies by changing your browser settings to reject cookies.

Storage

We store your personal data for the time necessary considering the purposes of the processing. When your data is no longer current or necessary, it is deleted from our systems.

You always have the right to request access to the personal data we have saved about you and request that it be deleted. However, we cannot delete information that we are required to keep according to Swedish accounting laws and for any complaints or warranty matters.
