Nobel prize to the founder of Soraa
Soraa was founded in 2008 by three professors in electronics . One of them, Dr. Shuji Nakamura, has now been rewarded with the Nobel Prize in Physics for his research. Together with his colleagues, Isamu Akasaki and Hiroshi Aman he created the blue diode that was the piece of the puzzle that was missing for, by mixing light from the already existing red and green LEDs with blue light, create white LED light. The blue LED is behind the majority of today's white LED light generated by blue or violet LEDs and phosphor technology. Through his work in Soraa Dr. Nakamura continued to take the blue diodes from an invention into an extremely useful and high quality product. if you want to know more contact Rikard@stockholmlighting.se

The track is illuminated in different ways to tell a unique story about mythical creatures and ancient legends. The project was implemented together with award-winning Ljusarkitektur AB with lighting designer Kai Piippo. Stockholm Lighting supplies lighting and control systems for the new adventure lighting. On Friday Lights in Alingsås had its 13th première. Stockholm Lighting was involved in three projects the year together with Lumen Pulse and Pharos Controls. As in previous years, it was a busy week with a lot of creativity, joy and even some frustration. The event runs until 4 November and we strongly recommend all customers, partners and friends to visit the city. The picture is from Alingsås Energy headquarters, designed by Maurice Asso.
