The town of Eskilstuna has invested in new lighting at several locations in the city to highlight beautiful details in the city. The light design on the Faktoribronis based on the municipality's vision of lifting the site's historical value. Since Eskilstuna became an industrial city in the 1600s manufactoring of arms and iron machining has taken place on the spot beside Faktoribron. The light under the bridge symbolizes the blast furnaces and the site-specific special fixture on the bridge illustrates the charred iron glowing. Stockholm Lighting has supplied dynamic fixtures from Lumen Pulse and control systems from Pharos to the spillways under the bridge.
