Sundell architects moved into Munchenbryggeriet in summer 2011. The premises was completely renovated and new lighting was installed. It is an old industrial building as the ceilings are all concrete with surface-mounted pipes and wiring. In some areas suspended ceilings were put in in but in the large rooms they chose to keep the industrial feel. That restricts the choice of fixtures and requires creativity. The solution was a U-shaped profile with Seamless pipes from running around the office and are the backbone of the lighting. The corresponding profile in shorter lengths was mounted above desktops as table lamps. In the outer spaces thethe roofmounted fixture Atrium Surface was installed.
